Magellan
began as a golf school with three holes and in 1996, it was expanded to
18 and opened on the Village's sixth golf course.
Long on great golf
holes, Magellan is one of the shorter courses, but don't let the length
fool you. This course plays shorter, but its tricky greens will
challenge all skill levels. It is a favorite for both men and women and
is consistently one of the top three courses played. Magellan continues
to boast the best practice facilities in the Village with a large
driving range, a newly reconstructed putting green and several short
game areas.
The fairways, tees, and
roughs are Bermuda and the greens are a blend of Dominant and Crenshaw
Bent grass. |
