Safety and security in Hot Springs Village is a top
priority. The Village has one of the lowest crime rates in the state or
nation and with 5 manned or electronically monitored entry guard gates,
residents can rest easy and enjoy all the amenities in a safe and secure
environment. The West Gate is located on
Highway 7 North and is staffed 24-hours a day. The East Gate is
located on Highway 5 and is staffed from 5:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
Access through gates not staffed allow entry only by computerized
identification cards.
The Village has four
fire stations located strategically throughout the area and fully
staffed police force is resident inside the
Village with deputies covering both Saline and Garlands counties.
A Village Animal Shelter is responsible for picking
up stray animals, advising property owners about nuisance wildlife,
relocating wildlife and providing care for the animals at the shelter.
The Animal Welfare League oversees the adoption desk, promotes the shelter,
and provides funds for veterinarian bills. |
